For way too many unprivileged young people in our country, promise is silenced by the demands of just getting by. Summer Search exists to change that, and the months and years I was privileged to work with them changed me. They seek out high schoolers short on opportunity and long on spark and they provide them with the kind of long-term support that allows them to step into their highest selves. My first collaboration with Elixir, the website, story and print materials we made for this remarkable organization were designed to amplify their important work in the world.
